Who is Texas Joe?

“Texas Joe” Arnold has been handicapping sports for 25 years. He learned his craft from two old-timers in New Orleans long ago. From them, he learned a statistical approach to handicapping that consistently produces winning seasons.

Over the past 25 years Texas Joe refined this approach include subjective observations that go beyond the mere reading of numbers. Having worked for some of the larger Atlantic City and Vegas handicapping services for most of his life, he decided to step out on his own three years ago, catering to a small group of sports bettors.

Being an old-timer himself, it took a fair amount of salesmanship to convince him that the internet could help him reach more people and provide an avenue to provide his picks to an ever increasing client base.
