NCAA Basketball: SAN DIEGO at BOISE STATE (12/12)
COLLEGE BASKETBALL — December 12
SAN DIEGO at BOISE STATE
(Boise State -5.5) — In some games lately, San Diego has been scoring fewer points than the Boise State football team. The problem during this five-game losing streak that has taken place after the Toreros beat Oklahoma and Houston is that they’ve been wildly inconsistent shooting the ball, with less than 36% accuracy in four of the last five, and 19% against Fresno State. In the games where San Diego has done well or kept things close as a dog, it has hit its three-point shots. Then, with the defense spread out, Brendan Johnson has room to do his thing. Boise State is accommodating in that area, as the Broncos are allowing almost 41% from beyond the arc. BSU needs to take care of the ball better (over 16 TO’s per game).
