NCAA Basketball: OREGON STATE at NEBRASKA (12/12)
COLLEGE BASKETBALL — December 12
OREGON STATE at NEBRASKA
(Nebraska -6.5) — These teams are similar, in that they are not especially great on the glass, and like to slow the game down to a snail’s pace if possible. We respect Oregon State’s march to the title in the CBI tournament last year, but Nebraska has always been a rough customer at home for teams they don’t overlook, and you count on Doc Sadler to crack the whip after his team, which commits just 13.5 turnovers a game, coughed it up 17 times last time out. Meanwhile, Oregon State is suffering not only from substandard ball movement (10.6 assists a game) but also from too much miscues (17.7 turnovers). That is not a ratio often seen in a winning team. Revenge angle is there for the Huskers, who lost at Corvallis last year to Barack Obama’s brother-in-law (Craig Robinson).
